FMC-SRAM Board

Overview

  • Connects through a VITA 57.1 LPC FMC connector

  • Supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V interfaces

  • Can be used with the NanoXplore NG-Medium and NG-Large Development Kits

  • Compatible with the LEON SRAM memory controller, operational at 100MHz using 2 wait states

The FMC-SRAM add-on board can be used with FPGA development kits that are equipped with a VITA 57.1 LPC FMC connector and use 2.4V-3.6V (Option 1) or 1.65V-2.2V (Option 2) interface.

The board setup is formed by a carrier board, plugged on top of the Xilinx FMC XM105 debug card, that can be populated with one or more SRAM modules.

Parts

  • PN2108001 – Universal carrier board, plugs on top of the Xilinx FMC XM105 debug card

  • PN2108002 – 2.5V interface, 2M x 8-bit SRAM module (IS61WV20488FBLL-10TLI), voltage levels in the range 2.4V-3.6V

  • PN2108003 – 1.8V interface, 1M x 16-bit SRAM module (CY7C1061G18-15ZSXI), voltage levels in the range 1.65V-2.2V

  • HW-FMC-XM105-G - FMC XM105 debug card from Xilinx

Configuration

Minimal configuration:

  • Option 1 - 2.5V: 1x PN2108001 + 1x PN2108002, total 2MB, 8-bit access

  • Option 2 - 1.8V: 1x PN2108001 + 1x PN2108003, total 2MB, 16-bit access

Maximal configuration:

  • Option 1 - 2.5V: 1x PN2108001 + 4x PN2108002, total 8MB, 32-bit access

  • Option 2 - 1.8V: 1x PN2108001 + 2x PN2108003, total 4MB, 32-bit access

Option 1 is compatible with the NanoXplore NG-Medium Development Kit, the NanoXplore NG-Large Development Kit and other kits that support 2.4V-3.6V VADJ through the FMC connector.

Option 2 is compatible with the Arrow Everest DEV Board, Xilinx KCU105 and other kits that support 1.65V-2.2V VADJ through the FMC connector.
